The Sophomore Post
My use of Trinity's wireless network has been quite limited so far because my laptop is on its last leg. On the rare occasion that I can actually get my laptop to work, I use the internet as a "distraction." When I need a computer for academic purposes, I use the library computers; they are faster and have not frozen on me yet. Let me see, am I forgetting anything? Oh yeah, you can read more about college campuses going wireless in this article from The Gazette: http://www.gazette.com/articles/wireless_21102___article.html/network_college.html. Now I have to go mess around with Microsoft Word. Until next time...

The story so far...
Hello, my name is Ian and I am a student at Trinity University. I was born in Houston, raised in San Antonio, and my family currently lives in Humble, TX. The first two years of my college education took place at Norwich University, the Military College of Vermont; however, I was medically disqualified from receiving a commission in the Air Force, so I decided to transfer. This blog is the result of my enrollment in Essential Computer Skills, hence its title. I know how to use Microsoft Word, a little Power Point, the internet, and iTunes, but that is the limit of my computer knowledge. If you have any questions, comments, or words of affirmation, my Trinity e-mail address is ismith@trinity.edu.
