Hello, my name is Ian and I am a student at Trinity University. I was born in Houston, raised in San Antonio, and my family currently lives in Humble, TX. The first two years of my college education took place at Norwich University, the Military College of Vermont; however, I was medically disqualified from receiving a commission in the Air Force, so I decided to transfer. This blog is the result of my enrollment in Essential Computer Skills, hence its title. I know how to use Microsoft Word, a little Power Point, the internet, and iTunes, but that is the limit of my computer knowledge. If you have any questions, comments, or words of affirmation, my Trinity e-mail address is ismith@trinity.edu.

This is so interesting! Both you and Jordan have been in the Air Force - this is a first for me. Welcome, Ian.

What's going on, Ian? You gotta Spock it and lock it!
My dad went to Norwich for two years, but then he left to enter the Airforce during Vietnam. I've been to Northfield and I've visited the campus.
That was really cool that you added a picture to our class wiki. I'm not really sure how to do that myself, so I'm impressed. I found it easier to understand the concept of fiber optic cables with a visual aid.
